Seminar and exhibition on the Vietnam Independence League

(VOVworld) – A seminar on President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnam Independence League was held today/ on Wednesday in Hanoi to mark the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Independence League or Viet Minh Front. Delegates analyzed Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on the National United Front and the role of the Vietnam Independence League in the revolution.

They agreed that the establishment of the Vietnam Independence League was Ho Chi Minh’s initiative to resolve some of the fundamental issues of Vietnam’s revolution. It’s a symbol of national unity and illustration of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh’s wise leadership.

An exhibition on the Vietnam Independence League and national unity opened at the National Museum of History on Wednesday. President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan said the Vietnam Independence League was initiated and founded by President Ho Chi Minh during the national struggle for independence.

Mr. Nhan said: “The exhibition acknowledges the role of national unity as a long-term tool for national construction and defense. We appreciate the organization of the exhibition before the national election, reminding us that unity helped Vietnam obtain national independence. Despite economic difficulties and unresolved issues, national unity will help us elect competent people to the National Assembly and People’s Councils.”

The exhibition displays 200 documents and items from the National Museum of History, the Museum of Vietnam’s Military History, and the Vietnam News Agency.
