Speaker of Australia’s House of Representatives concludes Vietnam visit

(VOVworld) – Speaker of Australia’s House of Representatives Bronwyn Bishop concluded her official visit to Vietnam on Sunday. During her stay, she held talk talks with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Vietnamese leaders praised friendship and cooperation between the two countries in line with their comprehensive partnership. They hoped that based on their political relations, the two countries will continue to foster their economic and trade cooperation to match their potentials. The two sides agreed to boost multifaceted cooperation, particularly in trade and investment, national defense, security, and education for the sake of peace and development. While in Hanoi, Bronwyn Bishop visited the former work place of President Ho Chi Minh and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university.
