(VOVworld) – The Syrian Presidential Election Day will be on June 3.

Syrian Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad al-Lahham said that this is the first presidential election attracting many candidates in Syria since Damascus adopted the current constitution. Addressing on Monday’s parliamentary session, Lahham said that the election will begin from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. of June 3^rd while voting for Syrians outside the country will take place at Syrian embassies next Monday. Lahham said requests for nomination will begin from Tuesday until May 1.
