The National Assembly Standing Committee opens 4th session

(VOWorld) – The National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 4th session in Hanoi on Monday to prepare for the 2nd session of the National Assembly scheduled for October 20.

During the 11-day session, the NA Sanding Committee will comment on the 2015 Criminal Law, the revised draft Law on corruption prevention, and Law on planning.

Lawmakers will listen to reports from the government, the People’s Supreme Court, and the Supreme Procucary on the settlement of people’s complaints and petitions.

The Committee will also give feedback on the government’s report on the implementation of the socio-economic and budget plan for 2016 and a plan on socio-economic development, budget estimates, and budget allocation for 2017.
