(VOVworld)- Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Politburo the Party Central Committee and the Standing Committee of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee. In his address, the Party leader asked local authorities to improve their management skills and be more dynamic in mobilizing resources to ensure rapid and sustainable growth. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong reiterated the Politburo’s Conclusion on developing Thua Thien Hue into a central city by 2020. Over the past five years, the province has achieved an annual growth rate of 10% and a capita income of 1,700 USD. The province has exerted efforts to become a special centre for culture, tourism, science and technology and education.
