(VOVworld) – The Soc Trang food festival 2016 and trade fair opened Tuesday in Soc Trang province.

270 enterprises participate in the fair to introduce their products, including agricultural and aquatic products, machines, production lines, and local specialties. The festival activities include a food competition featuring traditional dishes of Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer people, and evening music performances. 

The event is part of the traditional Ooc Om Bok week and the Ngo boat race festival of the Khmer People of the Mekong Delta region.
