(VOVworld) - Turkey has ended its "Euphrates Shield" military operation in Syria, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Wednesday.

In an interview with NTV, Mr. Yildirim said the operation was successful and is finished. Last August, Turkey started a military campaign in Syria to push Sunni fighters away from its border and halt the advance of Kurdish militia fighters.
