Tuyen Quang urged to promote advantages for breakthrough development
(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong paid a working visit to Tuyen Quang province on the occasion of the 69
th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day on September 2 and 45 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s will.
During his meeting with provincial leaders on Thursday, Trong urged the province to successfully implement the provincial Party resolution and prepare for the upcoming provincial 16
th Party congress.
He said Tuyen Quang should escape from its poor province status:
“Tuyen Quang needs to focus on agricultural and forestry development with high yield and combination of technological application and product processing. Tuyen Quang has enjoyed advantages in land and forestry, thus its restructuring efforts must take into account this strength.”The Party leader said the province should promote its implementation of the Party resolution on the learning from President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. The same day, Party leader Trong visited My Bang commune, Yen Son district, which was a former safe zone connected to the special relations between Vietnam and Laos.
