(VOVworld) – Lesley Craig, charge d’affairs of the UK Embassy in Vietnam, said the UK will uphold its policy of strengthening trade ties with Vietnam.

In an interview with Vietnam News Agency about possible impacts of Brexit on Vietnam-UK economic relations, Lesley said the UK will continue to enhance trade and investment relations with Vietnam.
The referendum took place one week ago and it’ll be a long way to form a new UK-EU relationship. The UK remains an EU member and it supports the EU-Vietnam free trade agreement. Lesley said the UK cares about its trade relation with Vietnam and will enhance cooperation in all sectors.
