(VOVworld) - US Ambassador Ted Osius joined a workshop organized by the Members of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) to promote young people’s initiatives and volunteer activities for positive changes.

The event encourages young people to be civically engaged and demonstrates the power of youth to develop solutions to pressing local, national, and regional issues. With the motto “Never too young to lead,” in Vietnam 16 YSEALI teams in 9 cities and provinces will join hands throughout the country to perform community services activities, promote volunteerism and showcase the power of youth in bringing positive change. This will be the most far-reaching YSEALI event in Vietnam, which aims to attract more than 1,000 participants.
