(VOVworld) – US President Donald Trump on Thursday welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago resort, expressing his hope for good relations between the two countries.

The leaders and cabinet members had lunch on Friday during which they discussed issues of mutual concern.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters at Palm Beach International Airport after greeting Xi that Trump would be having “very frank discussions” with Xi over North Korea and trade.
