(VOVworld) – US President Barack Obama signed Tuesday the 1.1-trillion- USD budget bill for 2015, which was approved by the US Congress last week.

The $1.1tn bill includes a provision to loosen regulations on financial instruments, angering Democrats.

A press statement released by the White House said the budget bill will fund most of the departments through September, 2015, but the Department of Homeland Security will only be funded through February, because of the Republican’s opposition to Obama’s executive order on immigration. Analysts said the disagreement between the government and the Congress will intensify as the 114^th US Congress, in which the Republicans controlled both houses, will take place in January, 2015.
