The “Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act”, which was approved 98 to 1, requires President Obama’s administration send the final accord to Congress as soon as it was completed. It delays any lifting of sanctions 30 days for a congressional review.
The House of Representatives is expected to take up the Senate measure as early as next week.
