US elections: GOP candidates enter 8th discussion

(VOVworld) - Republican US presidential candidates took part in the 8th television debate held by Fox News on Saturday to get the only ticket to represent Republican candidates in the 2016 US presidential election. The debate is the 3rd of 2016 and took place 2 days before New Hampshire voters have their say on February 9th. The debate was broadcast live in Des Moines, Iowa during the golden time frame. The candidates included US Senator Rand Paul, Governor Chris Christie, Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Marco Rubio, former Governor Jeb Bush and Governor John Kasich.

Latest public polls find Donald Trump with 35% support in New Hampshire, followed by Rubio with 14%. But a national poll has indicated that 30% of Republican voters said they won’t vote for Trump and expressed their belief in Rubio’s victory.
