(VOVworld)- Deputy US Trade Representative Robert Holleyman said on Wednesday that Washington would continue to pressure Beijing over its new regulations on cyber security in its banking sector, which could cause potential difficulties for US firms.
Holleyman said in an announcement that he had discussed these new regulations with Chinese leaders during last week’s visit to Beijing. He added that Washington would continue its interventions at the highest level until a suitable solution was reached.
The US is collaborating with Japan and the European Union (EU) in regard to this issue.
