USTDA wants to help Ho Chi Minh City become a smart city

(VOVworld) - The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is willing to assist Ho Chi Minh City in becoming a smart city, USTDA Country Manager David Ross told Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen on Friday.

At their meeting, Tuyen asked the agency to give advice to the local master plan on smart city building. He added that municipal authorities will provide favorable conditions for the USTDA to conduct surveys and seek cooperation opportunities in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ross said the USTDA will send its experts to Ho Chi Minh city to review or upgrade the local master plan. He asked local leaders to detail prioritized fields so that the two sides can work on them as soon as possible.
