(VOVworld) – The army command of the self proclaimed Republic of Donetsk said on Thursday that Donetsk continued their attacks against the Ukrainian army, causing huge losses.
On the way marching from Novoazovsk to Donetsk and passing occupied Starobeshevo on Wednesday, there was no sign of Kiev soldiers, said the command.
Earlier, the federalists announced their control over the entire Donetsk border area with Russia. They said clashes at Starobeshevo killed at least 129 Ukrainian army soldiers, forced the escort forces to surrender, and confiscated a large number of weapons.
