Unity urged to boost national growth

(VOVworld) – National Unity Day was celebrated in An Thai village, Ha Nam province on Tuesday. In his address, President Truong Tan Sang stressed the importance of unity in residential areas and called on every one to unite to contribute to national development: “I urge the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its affiliates to continue reforming patriotic emulation movements. The movement to build a healthy lifestyle in residential areas will develop new models of self-management, helping to build new rural and civilized urban areas. The Vietnam Fatherland Front must collect public opinions and refer them to the relevant Party and State agencies. It must cooperate with local government to exercise supervision and criticism.”
