(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan received in Hanoi on Tuesday Chinese ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong.

Nhan said that Vietnam wanted China to consider Vietnam’s development an opportunity for China’s growth and its own development.  He also expressed his hope that the ambassador would contribute to the comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and states in the coming years. The Chinese ambassador pledged his utmost to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, which will contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
