VFF President sends congratulatory letter on Buddha’s 2,559th birthday

In a letter sent to Buddhist dignitaries and followers to mark Buddha’ 2,559th birthday, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan said Vietnam’s Buddhist Shangha has united dignitaries and followers inside and outside the country and made great contribution to Vietnam’s construction and defense.
Mr. Nhan expressed his hope that Vietnam’s Buddhist dignitaries and followers would continue to actively take part in patriotic emulation movements launched by the VFF, helping foster national solidarity.
