(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, VFF, Nguyen Thien Nhan held talks with Chief Executive Director of Singapore’s People’s Association (PA) Ang Hak Seng in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The two sides informed each other about the socio-economic situation in their respective countries and activities of their organizations. Following the talks, VFF Secretary General Vu Trong Kim and Ang Hak Seng signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation until 2016.
During their visit to Vietnam from October 21-27, the Singaporean delegates will work with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Associations and VFF branches in Ho Chi Minh city and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and visit a number of historical and cultural sites in Vietnam.
