Vietnam, China enhance ties in radio broadcasting

(VOVworld)- The Voice of Vietnam and China’s National Radio on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening bilateral cooperation in communications.

VOV President Nguyen Dang Tien and CNR President Wang Qiu attended the signing ceremony. The two sides agreed to exchange news and stories and produce joint programs to mark the two countries’ major occasions. They agreed to co-organize annual senior official meetings, seminars and training courses to improve the quality of their media products.

VOV and CNR sign a cooperative agreement

Earlier, VOV President Nguyen Dang Tien met with Deputy Minister and Deputy General Director of China’s General Department of Radio, Cinematography, TV and Publication Tong Gang, who praised VOV’s position in Vietnam and overseas. He urged the two agencies to strengthen cooperation in communications in order to boost bilateral friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Chinese peoples. During his visit to China over the past few days, VOV President Nguyen Dang Tien met with General Director of China Central Television CCTV, the Vietnamese Embassy and a number of local radio stations in China.
