(VOVworld) – This week the Vietnam News Agency interviewed Vojtech Filip, Vice President of the Czech Republic’s Chamber of Deputies and leader of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia on the 86^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Filip congratulated Vietnam on its 12^th National Party Congress and the re-election of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. He said he hopes the Communist Party of Vietnam will attend an international seminar on the theories of communist parties, workers’ parties, and leftist movements in the Czech Republic in September.

During his visit to Vietnam in 2014 Filip said Vietnam is becoming a leading economy in the region and that Vietnam and the Czech Republic should work more closely to tap their potential. He also conveyed new year greetings to the Vietnamese people.
