(VOVworld) - Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan offered Tet gifts to social beneficiaries and poor households during his visit to Son La province from January 14 to 15 on the occasion of the upcoming traditional lunar new year.

During a meeting with locals in Chieng Co commune, he praised local coffee plantation as a correct way in income generation. He asked for more support to local people in fertilizers, plant varieties and watering system to improve productivity.
