(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese and Italian ministries of justice signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to officially establish their cooperative relationship in law and justice.

The document was signed by Minister Le Thanh Long and his Italian counterpart Andrea Orlando, who was on a working visit to Vietnam October 26-27. The two sides plan to share experience in judicial reforms, perfecting legal systems, and organizing law enforcement and verdict implementation, as well as experience pertaining to the management of judicial professions and participation in international conventions and organizations. The Italian minister’s first visit to Vietnam is aimed at setting up a cooperative relationship in law and justice between the two ministries.
