The two sides also discussed the use of Japan’s official development assistance (ODA) through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam. Mutou said he hopes the collaboration between the two agencies will continue to reap beneficial results. He suggested the two sides increase their regular exchanges and meetings at inspection conferences in Asia, along with promoting administrative consultations and cooperation in handling administrative complaints.
