(VOVworld) – On Sunday, the Vietnam Marine Police Force began their training program this year and launched an emulation movement to mark the 40^th anniversary of National Reunification, April 30^th.

Major General Nguyen Quang Dam, Commander of the Vietnam Marine Police Force, asked the force to be more creative in training methods to become more professional. Training should be based on the real context and situation in defending sovereignty over the sea and islands and improve the force’s ability to master new and advanced equipment. Mr. Dam said the Vietnam Marine Police Force continues to play a key role in maintaining law enforcement at the sea.
