Vietnam National Symphony performs in Russia

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra’s concert in Moscow on Sunday delighted Russian and Vietnamese audiences there. Vietnamese musician Do Hong Quan, whose music compositions opened the concert, said: "The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra has proved its professionalism by performing the immortal virtuosity of concerto No.12 by Shostakovich. Our orchestra also performed two traditional Vietnamese pieces, representing our national spirit through their beautiful melodies."

The concert was part of activities to celebrate Vietnamese Culture Week in Russia.
