(VOVworld) – Nicaragua always treasures its friendship and cooperation with Vietnam and expressed its hope for expanded bilateral partnership in economics, trade, and investment.

Speaker of the Nicaraguan Parliament Rene Nunez has made the statement while receiving a delegation led by Hoang Binh Quan, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Foreign Relations. The delegation visited Nicaragua at the invitation of the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front Party (FSLN) and to attend the 35^th anniversary of the success of the Sandino revolution on July 19^th.
Nunez introduced to the Vietnamese delegation the Nicaraguan Parliament’s activities and called for improving friendship and experience exchanges between the two legislative bodies.
For his part, Quan confirmed Vietnam’s resolve to enhance relations between the two Parties and governments and expand multi-faceted co-operation to match with the close-knit bilateral political ties.
Quan also held talks with head of the FSLN’s International Relations Department Jacinto Suarez, during which both pledged to continue implementing effectively their cooperation agreements.
