(VOVworld) – The labor agencies of Vietnam and Cuba should work together to protect workers’ rights and prevent moral degradation among Party members.

At a reception for Secretary General of the Confederation of Cuban Workers (CTC) Ulises de Nascimiento on Wednesday, Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang expressed his hope that the Cuban Party and State will be successful in implementing the resolution of the 6^th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, to building and developing Cuba in the new period.

Secretary General Nascimiento informed President Sang of the results of the recent meeting between the CTC with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the orientation to develop trade unions worked out at the 6^th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba. Cuba has promulgated the Investment Law and built new industrial parks and sea ports to attract more investment. Through this visit, the Cuban delegation hopes to gain experience in investment attraction, and trade union management.
