At a reception for the visiting Venezuelan delegation, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh hailed progress in bilateral collaboration and promised to continue working closely with Venezuelan partners on joint projects and commitments made by State leaders.

Mr. Minh said that Vietnam highly values its trade and investment ties with Venezuela, particularly in agro-fishery, gas, oil, consumer goods, and building materials.

He urged the two countries to support each other at multilateral forums and in international organisations such as the UN, the Non-Aligned  Movement, and the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC).

Deputy Foreign Minister Felix Plasencia said Venezuela considers Vietnam a top partner in Asia and is determined to deepen bilateral relations.
