Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association Congress opens

The 4th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association opened in Hanoi on Monday attended by more than 600 delegates. The Association will present Red Star awards to outstanding businesspeople, hold a meeting with 500 brilliant students and launch a program for the poor.

Earlier, students of Hanoi’s National Economics University discussed with young entrepreneurs the lessons of business experience. "There are 3 ways to find opportunities to set up a business. We can begin with something that has not been done before, or try to develop services around old products, or combine these two ways", said Mr. Le Van Hieu,Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and General Director of Phu Thai Group Joint Stock Company.

The Association presented 25 scholarships to poor but outstanding students in the northern province of Dien Bien.

The same day, State President Truong Tan Sang received 90 young entrepreneurs who are in Hanoi to attend the 4th National Congress of young entrepreneurs for the 2011-2014 term. President Sang praised the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association for its effective performance and urged them to build business culture and assist each other for development. The businesspeople expressed their hope that the Party and State will adopt more strategies to enhance the business development.
