Vietnam always assures the best possible investment environment
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday met with Takehiko Kakiuchi, Managing Director of Mitsubishi group on the sideline of the expanded G7 Summit in Japan.

Mr. Phuc said the Vietnamese government always creates the best possible investment environment to welcome foreign investors. He hailed Mitsubishi’s contributions to Vietnam’s development, especially in the software industry. Mr. Phuc said he hoped the group will further invest in its production in Vietnam and accelerate investment projects in Vietnam. Mr. Takehiko Kakiuchi said Vietnam is an important destination to Mitsubishi. The group is now operating in Vietnam, mainly in machinery, crude oil, chemical products and infrastructure.
The same day, Prime Minister Phuc visited Yokoyama farm in Nagoya prefecture. This is an agricultural model producing clean products. Mr. Phuc then left Nagoya for Tokyo where he and his Japanese PM Shinzo Abe will hold talks and co-chair an international press conference. Important documents are expected to be signed during the visit.
