Madam Doan made the remark at a Monday meeting with parliamentarians, who gathered in Hanoi for a meeting of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee (APF). The Committee belongs to the OIF’s Parliamentary Assembly. She reiterated that Vietnam always treasures its ties with the International Francophone Organisation and expressed her belief that the APF will continue providing practical proposals to the OIF as a helpful consultant.
On behalf of the delegation, President of the Committee Robert Aubin praised Vietnam’s contribution at the ongoing meeting and for the development of the Francophone community over past years. He also shared the host’s view on the necessity of fostering the popularity of the French language through more effective measures.
