(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has concluded his visits to Sweden and the UK. Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc told reporters that during Ninh’s Sweden visit, both sides agreed to strengthen their partnership in renewable energy, telecommunications, high tech, and human resource training. Ngoc said Vietnam asked Sweden to recognise its market economy regulations at an early date, and speed up negotiations for a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union. Sweden accepted an invitation to send a delegation to the 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Alliance to be held in Vietnam next year. Sweden also voiced strong support for Vietnam’s stance of peacefully solving disputes in the East Sea on the basis of international law.

Of Ninh’s UK visit, Ngoc said the Vietnam – UK Business Forum attracted 100 British business people who showed great interest in the Vietnamese market.
