Vietnam seeks stronger education ties with the US

(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has said that Vietnam is keen on strengthening co-operation in the education sector with the United States, including the building of Fullbright University Vietnam.

At a reception for Professor Thomas Vallely of Harvard University in Hanoi on Tuesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said Vietnam looks forward to building Fullbright University Vietnam as a model institution that will facilitate the creation of jobs and start-ups.

Professor Vallely said he hopes the Vietnamese government will give timely policy support to the university. He said the US wants to establish an appropriate management mechanism for Fullbright University Vietnam to make it a leading educational institution.
