Vietnam to host biggest Asian-Oceanian ICT summit

(VOVworld) - The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Summit 2014 will be held in Hanoi and central city of Da Nang.

The 4-day event, which will open next Tuesday, is expected to attract 700 domestic and international delegates, including 250 leaders from ICT associations and leading groups in 30 countries around the world.

Themed “ICT - The New Paradigm in Social-Economic Development and Agriculture Restructuring”, the meeting will discuss ICT applications in agriculture restructuring and rural development.

Its eight symposia will touch upon ICT accompanied by agricultural restructuring, ICT, a new paradigm to improve public services, and smart technology platform.

Within the framework of the forum, there will be the Japan ICT Day 2014, the ICT Best Practices Exhibition, and talks between Vietnamese and foreign ICT businesses.
