(VOVworld) – The 66th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora convened in Geneva this week.

During the event Vietnam proposed to host the 3^rd International Wildlife Trade Conference in Hanoi in November. Head of the Vietnamese delegation Nguyen Ba Ngai said Vietnam’s hosting of the conference demonstrates its efforts and responsibility in resolving global issues. He said Vietnam will continue to join regional and global efforts in preventing the illegal trade in wild fauna and flora.
