(VOVworld) – Vietnam wishes to strengthen relations with Norway in all fields. Vietnam National Assembly Vice Chair Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made the statement at Monday’s reception for Anniken Huitfeldt, Chair of the Norwegian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense. Ngan requested further high-leveled exchanges which could reinforce political trust, economic cooperation, and bilateral trade. She added that Vietnam was willing to facilitate Norwegian businesses to invest in Vietnam. The official also expressed her gratitude for the official development assistance (ODA) from Norway which has been used efficiently in helping Vietnam in achieving a number of United Nations Millennium Development Goals ahead of schedule.
