Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue made the remark at a function on Thursday to welcome the 2017 Spring Forum held by the Asia Business Council in Ho Chi Minh City.

He said Vietnam prioritizes businesses ready to connect with Vietnamese partners and operate in fields compatible with Vietnam’s economic restructuring, adding that the forum will boost innovation and sustainable development in the region.

He insisted that the Vietnamese Party and State have a consistent policy of actively engaging in the global economy and being a reliable partner to all investors.

The 2017 Spring Forum, which will end on Saturday, focuses on sustainability and creativity in investing for the next 50 years.
