(VOVworld) - The string puppet performance Dances of the Night Queen (Vu Dieu Hoa Quynh) by the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre won the Gold Medal at the 4th International Puppetry Festival held in Hanoi from October 10-16.

The organizing board presented 13 gold medals and 15 silver medals to best performances and excellent puppeteers. 14 Puppetry Troupes from 10 countries brought to the festival fantastic performances reflecting their countries’ cultural uniqueness.
Representing Vietnam, the Hanoi Puppetry Theatre and the Hai Phong Puppetry Theater performed 7 water and stage puppet performances.
