(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged Japan to continue to encourage its businesses to invest in Vietnam.  During his meeting with visiting Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida in Hanoi yesterday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed wish for stronger bilateral trade, suggesting that Japan opens its door wider for Vietnamese agricultural products. The Prime Minister pledged that Vietnam will create all possible favourable conditions for Japanese enterprises so that they can do long-term and profitable operations in the country. He urged the two sides to bolster their bilateral partnership in all fields, from politics and diplomacy to economics, trade, investment, tourism and development cooperation. He added that Vietnam wished to step up partnership in culture, education and training, science and technology, people-to-people contacts as well as defence and security. Vietnam hopes Japan will continue to help with its development process, including the provision of ODA, he stated, adding that the Vietnamese Government will continue its close coordination with Japan to use this source of support in an effective manner. The Prime Minister also vowed to work closely with the Japanese side to put the Vietnam-Japan University , which is considered a new symbol for the cooperation between the two countries, into operation soon. At the same time, he asked Japan will create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese students, labourers and nurses to study and work in the country.
