The event was co-organised by the AEON 1% Club Foundation and the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. Speaking at the meeting, the Vietnamese Charge d’Affaires in Japan Nguyen Truong Son acknowledged AEON’s contributions to Vietnamese – Japanese ties as well as to the development of Vietnam. He expected the young participants to enhance mutual understanding and help strengthen bilateral friendship. The exchange programme for high school students in Japan and Vietnam aims to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of each other's histories and cultures and form friendships, via activities like courtesy visits to embassies and cultural heritage sites, attendance at school lectures, and homestays.
