(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged Guangxi province and Vietnamese localities to take the lead in strengthening unity and traditional friendship neighborliness to fuel bilateral strategic comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and China.

In his reception of the Secretary of the Party Committee of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Peng Qing Hua, who was visiting Vietnam to join the 2^nd spring meeting with Party secretaries of northern Vietnamese provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Ha Giang, Prime Minister Phuc asked Guangxi to increase the import of Vietnamese agricultural produce and boost cooperation in culture, education, tourism and agriculture. Secretary Peng proposed that both countries should promptly upgrade their international border gates, while informing the Prime Minister that he has ordered Guangxi’s relevant agencies to deal with the issue of Vietnamese export backlog at the local border gates in Guangxi.
