(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesman has responded to reporter’s question regarding the US Embassy’s recent concern about the trial outcomes of Bui Thi Minh Hang and several others under charges of public order disturbance: “People’s rights including the right to freedom of expression in Vietnam are always respected. Citizens are allowed to practice their rights in line with the law. The criminal trial of Bui Thi Minh Hang, Nguyen Thi Thuy Quynh and Nguyen Van Minh under charges of public order disturbance follows Vietnamese criminal procedures. This is to ensure national security, social law and order and peaceful life of people.”
