(VOVworld) - Five Vietnamese weightlifters left for Houston, the US, to vie for the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships title and tickets to the 2016 Summer Olympics.

They are Thach Kim Tuan, who will compete in the 56kg category, Nguyen Tran Anh Tuan (56kg), Tran Le Quoc Toan (62kg), Nguyen Hong Ngoc (77kg) and Hoang Tan Tai (85kg).

They are accompanied by Coach Huynh Huu Chi. At the tourney, Vietnam aims to earn tickets to the Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil. The event attracts 745 weightlifters from around the world and will last from November 20 – 28.
