(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s 2015 Summer Camp closed on Thursday in Ho Chi Minh City. The event, which drew the participation of more than 160 young overseas Vietnamese from 21 countries and territories around the world, was a great opportunity for the participants to travel across Vietnam and learn of changes in their homeland. Nguyen Ngoc Thu Huong, a Vietnamese Canadian, told VOV: "On this trip, I’ve learned more about Vietnam’s history and culture than I learned via the internet. My love for Vietnam has grown and I’m proud to be Vietnamese. Vietnam has become more developed but has been able to preserve its unique traditions."
