Vietnam’s Sea and Island Week on the theme of “For a Green Planet”

(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment has announced the launching of Vietnam’s Sea and Island Week to begin on June 1.

The national event on the theme “for a green planet” will take place nationwide with a focus on coastal provinces. A celebration of the week and the World Ocean Day will be held in Nam Dinh province on June 8, when all coastal provinces will try to clean up their shores.
During the press briefing on Wednesday, the Ministry announced that Lao Cai province will be hosting the Day for World Environment on June 5.
