Vietnam’s promotion and protection of human rights makes progress

(VOVworld) - Vietnam has joined the 25th session of the UN Human Rights Council’s dialogue on minority and handicap people’s rights.

The Vietnamese representative expects the UN to do more in its international cooperation to protect minority groups and people with disability’s rights and the fight against racial discrimination.
Vietnam reiterated its unswerving policy of caring for and protecting their rights for equality and mutual development in all ethnic groups. Vietnam pledged to promote and protect people with disability’s rights, including its accession to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
