Vietnam’s salt fields named one of top 15 locations to see sunsets

(VOVworld) – The DailyMail has selected Vietnam’s salt fields as one of the world’s top 15 destinations to watch a breathtaking sunset on earth.

During the day, harvesters are busy amassing an annual salt production of approximately 700,000 tons, but as the sun goes down and the workers leave, the salt fields become a shrine to tranquility.

The 15 locations also include India's Taj Mahal; the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia; the sunset in Norway; the Great Pyramid site of Giza in Cairo, Egypt; desert safaris in Dubai; Chile's Atacama Desert; sunsets in Cape Town; California's Santa Monica beach; the Kirkjufell Mountain at Snæfellsnes Peninsula west of Iceland; Zanzibar-an archipelago off the coast of Tanzania in East Africa; the Isle of Skye in Scotland; Ayers Rock in Australia; and Québec City in Canada.
